Dina

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 19 June 2026

Dina is built on one principle: your data is yours. This policy explains, plainly, what stays on your device, the few things that leave it, and what we never do.

What stays on your device

Your vault (memories, notes, and anything you tell Dina), your chat history, your reminders, and your encryption keys are stored locally and encrypted. You can export or delete them at any time.

What's shared, and when

Your Dina servers. To give you a portable identity and a network, Dina connects to services we operate:

AI model providers. When you use a feature that needs AI (for example, Ask), your request and the context Dina includes to answer it are sent to an AI model provider to generate a response. If you connect your own provider key, that request goes to that provider under your own account. We do not use these requests for advertising or profiling.

What we do not do

We do not include analytics or crash-tracking SDKs, advertising, or third-party trackers. We do not access your device location, your address book, your photos, your microphone, or your camera. We do not sell your data or share it with data brokers.

Your controls

You hold the keys. You can export your data, delete it, or delete your Dina entirely from within the app.

Data retention

Local data lives on your device until you delete it. Published content (reviews, listings) remains until you remove it. Encrypted messages are held by the relay only until delivered.

Children

Dina is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your region) and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We will update this page when this policy changes and revise the date above.
